GA attendance/Occupy attendance
  • Less GA’s to facilitate dwindling numbers
  • GA’s should always happen regardless of number so people come back
  • Some structural/logistical constraints (family)
  • Emotional/physical vulnerability
  • Too into radical or peaceful ideas
  • Lack of plan to circumstances (cops, violence)
State terrorism – police willfully try to suppress politics
  • Intimidation effect numbers
  • Need to challenge institutions that suppress political expression
Most people only deal with Politics when they are the victim
  • People are sympathetic to cops not us
  • If we challenge cops must be done smart to gain sympathy
Suing police in process
  • Theft, harassment and intimidation
Public space crucial part of public space
  • Is important  as economic policies
Information about police crimes/tactics
  • May scare people off
  • People have right to know what they are getting into
People come to GA’s to talk, not much actually gets done
Need more personal interactions
  • Best strategy may be in place but people are needed to carry them out
Smaller affinity groups may discuss certain actions
  • Bonds grow
  • Must be careful not to override others but remain autonomous
  • In order to have influence people must join and participate; not dictate to criticize from the side.
Proposal A – Blocked
That Occupy Sydney cells form autonomously to carry out specific actions
Block – Mark
Not democratic: general actions which relate to Occupy Sydney need to be known

Proposal B – Passed
Everyone who did not come tonight is a poohead

Proposal C
Occupy Sydney to do a Black Bloc
Proposal D
All spelling mistakes must go through a GA
